the mutilated bodies of three boys are found submerged in a ditch. cops do there best impersonation of the keystone cops and raise the ire of local town folk. no evidence, no leads, no problem...wheel out the scape goats!



these are the faces of three murdering pieces of white trash. they are devil worshippers because they like heavy metal. they are evil because they quote heavy metal lyrics. wearing black is a sure sign of a bonafide satanist (poor johnny cash).

oh yes, its all true!

i recently started reading the book devils knot for what must be the fifth time, and i am getting very irritated. again! what an incredible story of ineptitude on the grandest scale. to think that a 20th century witch hunt of this caliber was allowed is beyond reprehensible, and also testament to the brand of amateur justice that is being leveled daily in the courts of america. this is truly a breech of judicial etiquette and principle.

it would be nice if somehow their cause could develop a higher profile. basically there are two men serving life sentences and one man on death row and not a single shred of physical evidence tying them to the crime. it is absurd that every other single lead was ignored. all of the examples from above, as well as one coerced confession from a mentally retarded teenager, were used to help convict these three young men.

justice is done.
